I always wondered if Bill Cosby's "me too" destruction followed from his remarks that black youth should pull its pants up and stop talking mumbo jumbo? Not to say that I approve of inappropriate behaviour - but I do not approve of historic financially or politically motivated accusations. The time to register harassment complaints is in the here and now, not 20 years later.
I don't know a thing about Cosby's sexual escapades but I suspect that he was possibly targeted because he spoke the truth about the degradation of black culture and the high frequency of fatherless black children. And he placed the blame where it belonged.

Unrelated to this post, but certainly in your field of specialty, it is commonly claimed about the aviation industry that older pilots with more flight experience are safer, have better judgment, and so less accidents. After investigating 100s of accidents I'm not persuaded. But it seems to me that unraveling the probability of an accident and how the age/experience of a pilot affects that probability is no small problem. Maybe you would be interested in tackling this question. I should think both the industry and the flying public would benefit from the facts.
