Mark Steyn has been one of the most consistently brave and brilliant political analysts of our generation. He has always firmly stood his ground challenging the ‘official’ narrative on issues like climate change, immigration, cultural marxism and (more recently) the covid vaccines in the face of constant attacks from the establishment who despise him for exposing their lies and weaknesses.
For an all too brief period up to December 2022 Mark hosted a nightly one-hour show on GB News which meant that, for the first time, people in the UK could watch on TV a show which seriously challenged the mainstream media narrative on just about everything. This included the ‘safe and effective’ covid vaccine narrative and the Ukraine war narrative. He also exposed the fact that the likes of Klaus Schwab of the WEF were committed to - and implementing - policies as part of their new world order agenda that affected us all and were not merely the ‘figments of imagination of conspiracy theorists’ as claimed by the liberal elite. And he manages to do all this with great wit and sarcasm.
He introduced the (alert) British public to incredible emerging international political analysts like Alexandra Marshall and Eva Vlaardingerbroek who were regular guests on his show, as well as home grown talent like Leilani Dowding, Dominique Samuels, Lois Perry, Samantha Smith and June Slater.
Unfortunately, in December 2022 Mark suffered two heart attacks, the second of which would likely have killed him had he remained in the UK at the mercy of the NHS rather than being in France.
While he was still recovering from his heart attacks GB News decided to sack him because complaints had been made to the UK communications regulator OFCOM about his shows discussing vaccine safety and OFCOM had found him ‘guilty of spreading misinformation’ in one of them. Undeterred, Mark vowed to sue OFCOM in the High Court and he started hosting his own show online with the same great format and content (only more so!) as before.
It was therefore a great honour for me to feature on his show on 25 April 2023 (along with Naomi Wolf). The full one-hour show is here.
Because there were a few key points I forgot to make during the interview, which I think are especially pertinent to Mark’s OFCOM case, here is my interview with some after show comments added.
When I read “a tribute” I assumed he had died. Glad to hear he’s still going strong!
I love the video backdrop. Norman Fenton for PM! You've got my vote!
