The Covid testing swabs debacle
The ritualistic humiliation and pain was all part of the test of compliance and control
Of all the bizarre and barbaric covid rituals that the public were humiliated into accepting - for many on an almost daily basis - shoving a stick (sometimes contaminated) deep into the nose and throat for a useless inaccurate test takes some beating.
The video in the link below is especially distressing.
Even if the PCR (or lateral flow) test had been an accurate method to determine if a person had the virus, there was never any need for anything more than the normal saliva test. But it was not just the unnecessary pain and humiliation of the test that was a problem. This type of invasive testing also led to catastrophic injuries. For example, this paper shows a “non-trivial number” of these swab tests were “associated with skull base injury”:
This paper describes several cases of traumatic nasal cerebrospinal fluid fistula and its consequences such as meningitis (similar cases are described in this paper)
And there were fibres coming off the sticks that were going into throats and noses:
Sometimes the damaging results were instantaneously observed:
Then there is the issue of ethylene oxide (which is potentially carcinogenic) which was often used to sterilise the swabs. The Reuters fact-choker, who dismissed as fake public concerns about this, was not exactly convincing:
While it is accurate to say exposure to ethylene oxide has been associated with cancers (here), this does not mean that swabs sterilised with ethylene oxide will cause cancer.
Also, despite the usual fact-chokers trying to claim it was not the case, DNA from the swabs was being harvested for ‘research’ as the testing companies were selling the used swabs for this purpose.
At least I guess we can be thankful that the Chinese practice of using anal swabs didn’t catch on in a big way outside China!
It was all such utter BS from the very start. I'm happy to say I have never taken one of their stupid tests.
Oh, that poor girl! And we thought we got all 'civilised' when we stopped drilling holes in people's heads to cure migraine. Think again. Instead, we started ramming cotton buds soaked in highly toxic ethylene oxide up people's noses, up our own noses, and even up our kids' noses, half way to their brain, to test for asymptomatic cases of a 'deadly' disease where the average age of fatality exceeded the average lifespan. Stupidity is the deadliest of all human diseases and it's highly contagious.
