If we take the Haas re-evaluation (the risk-adjusted person days is entirely obvious), then what we get is an efficacy level similar to Xu et al 2021, which is the Vaccine Safety Datalink paper showing vaccine efficacy of up to 72% for NON-Covid mortality. What this means is that the remaining efficacy is ALL a combination of healthy vaccinee bias and confounding by indication. ALL of it.

I'm presenting at Pandata this morning showing that this combination looks precisely like the U.S. County data.

All the pieces just came together without any need for a model.

I recently spent time with someone who works at a company who summarizes data for clinical trials. This person has experience with covid vaccines.

I asked about how the process works. I will summarize what I heard. Full disclaimer that my understanding may not be exact. But this is what I heard.

A pharma company is contracted (via an SOW) to summarize clinical trial data.

Contracted company runs analyses and summaries data for pharma company.

Contracted company presents summarized data (with charts and other methods). Pharma company accepts or asks data to be rerun to present data that is desirable.

Contracted company reruns analysis using different methods and/or different parameters.

Summaries are then presented again.

Rinse and repeat until desirable results are accepted by pharma company.

One way to describe this is the company that is contracted to do the analysis “beats the data to death until the acceptable findings are presented”.

Who knew this is how it works?

That reminds me of what some CIA analysts said in interviews that appeared in the excellent Frontline documentary "The Dark Side". It takes a long, gruesome look at how Dick Cheney fabricated the WMD pseudo-justification for Dick and Don's Excellent Adventure in Iraq, (You know, that tidy little war that fixed 9/11 and ended terrorism). The analysts were reporting that they could find no evidence of a WMD program, and the Dark Lord would simply reply "Tell them to look again" until they reach the desired conclusion.

Great example!

when my late husband worked on his Master's at UofM, he said that you could design a study to reach any predetermined outcome. Knowing this, and the beating of the data, we should not be surprised that the people who pay for the study get exactly what they were looking for.

I learned a good term from Bret Weinstein for this phenomenon: He refers to such studies as being "conclusion-driven", meaning the would-be researchers have a desired conclusion in mind, and they both design the study and interpret the results accordingly.

Standard procedures. Found it worked this way while working for a government department regarding a contractor's request that we place a particular employee in a key position on a $150 million dollar contract. And each round I was told to go back and look again, I kept finding more and more dirt on this guy, and lack of experience. He had a pattern of lasting less than 6 months on the job, his biggest job prior to that was a $12 million contract. I made phone calls, interviewing lots of prior people, and every time I asked if they'd invite him back to manage another project, they all said no. A high level govt. employee (after 4 rounds of this) came down and asked our team if we would still turn the person down, we said yes. He said he just wanted to hear it from our mouths directly. (of course, no email trail). They brought him on anyway, and he never lasted 6 months. But his resume now shows him managing a $150 Million project. It's a scam used by the contractor to extract money from the person's parents/family in order to pad his resume for a good paying job. Rinse, lather, repeat.

Doing your own research used to be considered a virtue. During COVID, it became some kind of shaming device... "For God's sake, please don't tell me you're doing your own research! Leave the science and medicine to real scientist and researchers."

Thus, "according to the FDA and CDC, SAFE and EFFECTIVE" became some kind of rebuttal.

But then, on the other hand, the "alphabet organizations" would say things were novel, unprecidented, and thus couldn't actually produce science.

So infuriating. But this is preaching to the choir!

Expand full comment

In fact, the amount of education may often be a hindrance to uncovering truth - those with many degrees typically ascribe more credibility to others with the same educational level than anyone else, irrespective of real evidence. It's the logical fallacy of "appeal to authority", and it fails to recognize that intelligence/education is only ONE requirement for authenticity - the other is integrity, which no possible number of degrees and awards can confer. There may actually be an inverse relationship between the two.

Expand full comment

Those with lots education and letters after their name don't get out in the real world much nowadays, so they miss the blindingly obvious.

One pattern I'm spotting lately is those who have come to realize they're on the wrong side are now saying "I don't care about the vaccines and stuff."

Of course that is actually quite evil, since they are basically saying they don't care about all those people hurt or even killed by the injections, but it seems to be their best 'cope'. Easier than saying "Yeah, let's talk about how totally wrong I was, how badly I dun goofed, even though you kept warning me n stuff? Weird, huh?"

I worked with them for nearly 40 years, and the whole agency, including DARPA, is full of people who just take orders. The number of original thinkers in the lot is about the same as in the rest of the Federocracy. Close to zero.

Of course, the whole reason that the DoD was listed as the "COO" on Sasha/Katherine's chart is that they are doing exactly what the gub'mint said they were - operations - logistics, moving the stuff around and such. But creating this? Nope, you have to go back to the Ralph Barics and Peter Daszhaks and such for that. Katherine and Sasha have ZERO experience with the DoD, so they are clueless on this.

And perhaps you should also include that not only did SA-P's IMOH hide this information, they have not paid the researchers, failed to sign the contract with them, and have therefore pulled the plug on the research. https://twitter.com/YaffaRaz/status/1612319376102801408

The idiotic way we allowed Big Pharma to define "vaccinated" was ALWAYS going to lead to a 100% VE at the start of the rollout, because you only counted as vaccinated if you made it through the worry window without getting covid -- if you did, you went into the 'unvaccinated' bucket because you weren't "fully protected".

When you only count the people who actually graduate, your graduation rate is 100%!!!

I’d love to see the truth movement break away from this evil and corrupted slice of society and set up our own school, medical and governmental systems.
