The World Council for Health Better Way Conference 2023 and interviews roundup
A personal perspective
On 3 June 2023 I attended the Better Way Conference 2023 in Bath having been invited to speak in this final panel session of the day:
This was my presentation:
My colleague and friend Jessica Rose attended for the whole of the conference (I was only there Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning) and she has already written extensively about the whole experience and ambiance; so, as my impression is consistent with hers, I don’t need to repeat it.
From the minute I got there, there was hardly any time when I was not tied up in interviews (which meant that on Saturday I was unable to attend any session apart from the panel session I was on). These included:
a 20 minute interview with Veronika Kyrylenko from the New American:
a 30 minute live interview on Alan Miller's show on TNT Radio (I'm on from 30:00):
many spontaneous interviews like this one:
It was amazing to meet people like Paul Marik and Pierre Kory (and many others) in person for the first time. Paul was so pleased that his case against Kyle Sheldrick - which could otherwise have led to Vitamin C being removed from treating patients with sepsis - was won. Pierre gave me a copy of his book and wrote this message in it:

Here I am pictured with Shabnam Mohamed (top left), Tina Peers, Jessica Rose and Efrat Fenigsen (top right), Kim Witczak (bottom left) and Maryann Pousette Gebauer (bottom right).

On Sunday I decided to turn the tables and do some quick interviews of some interesting people there. This one with Heiko Schoening was explosive:
And with Jessica Rose (turn subtitles on as some of the discussion is drowned out by the noise):
To complete a compendium of interviews here is one from a couple of weeks ago with Ahmad Malik that I especially enjoyed:

As I said elsewhere, Norman-you are a man of courage and integrity, your data keeps us out here in the game!
Here is what you missed on Sunday. Wonderful speakers. I am very sorry that I missed greeting you then, (did I send you this?) https://hughmccarthy.substack.com/p/our-day-at-the-better-way-conference
Brilliant work as per usual, you must be busier now you have "retired" than ever before?
