Travel tip #8 for the win!

I am so glad to read (and watch) accounts of freedom fighters having fun. :)

Thanks for sharing this, very interesting & enjoyable.

I'm astonished that there would people on a Mark Steyn cruise who are generally awake but unaware of the vax harms. What do they think happened to him?

Expand full comment

Interestingly the vaccine was never discussed in any of the sessions. It's a moot point

"A moot point is a fact that does not apply to the current situation."

Given the host has sustained multiple 'heart attacks' that have deprived him of his robust well being (until proved otherwise given the methodologically uncontrolled societal assault that has taken place and continues apace), it would seem to be the elephant in the room?

Delighted nonetheless that you enjoyed the experience, Prof.

Thoroughly enjoyable read, Prof, but no mention of sampling our indigenous cuisine. How you could visit the colonies and not dine on a hamburger and french fries at least once, is beyond my ken. ;-)

Yes unfortunately I missed out on that

Lovely to see so many photos, and you invariably cheerful. I am amazed that it seems that it will be Biden vs Trump for POTUS and not younger people being given a chance. Most fascinating for me is that whatever other sins of D. Trump and B. Johnson they had the right sense on covid-19 lockdowns but were bamboozled by the ‘experts’. Best wishes.

Hi Norman, I had to laugh at your experience with the woman at Ann and Phelim's table - I went through a similar episode with her on July 2023 cruise. I would imagine you were more restrained than I was in expressing my disapproval. A pity as it would have been very interesting to get full details of what went on at the trial - especially Ann and Phelim's thoughts on the jury. Glad you enjoyed the cruise

Russell: There is a link in the article to the full session with Ann and Phelim about the trial and jury

Your lovely descriptions of hotel and other u.s. service, including treatment at customs, tells me things have only gone further down the drain since we last spent serious time over there just short of 20 years ago.

Lovely to read and feel along with you for the cruise Norman. Interesting on having more ‘Awake’ but ‘Vaxxed’ Americans with you this year.

What did Conrad Black forecast will happen for 2024?

He was confident that there would not be any major electoral fraud in the US election

Lovely to read… I can imagine this all as a great vlog. Would have liked to see the expression on your face when there were no fresh towels the final day 😂. Did you curse aloud? Did you quietly fume? These details are like the space between music notes.

Looks like it was an amazing experience. The pictures are fantastic. Nothing like that turquoise water.

I’ve never been on a cruise; I enjoyed hopping on with you vicariously!

Kate: Thanks. Yes maybe I till do a proper vlog next time. Apart from the towels incident I really should have taken a video of the security at Miami airport: the forced removal of shoes for anybody aged under 75, the confiscation of my plastic comb and the full body search after already going through the full body scan.

This is how the new Totalitarianism will triumph, Prof Fenton: nonentities just doing their job as enforcers - see Solzhenitsyn.

I hope you have returned to the fight refreshed by the change.

We all look forward to seeing how the Met Commissioner manages to stonewall and wriggle out of his duty to investigate the crimes committed against us.

So glad to see you enjoying life. Mazel tov.

Very enjoyable and encouraging, thank you Norman.

Loved reading about the cruise, you seemed to be with a great group of like minded people. Travelling seems quite a challenge but I do admire that you are more than capable of dealing with it while retaining your good humour. Thank you for taking the time to report on your well earned short break.

This looks like so much fun!

Good for you, Prof. Fenton.

I think your descriptions and reflections are very entertaining .....as the poster below named Candy noted, you have taken us along too.

I think there are 2 types of people on earth, those who enjoy cruises and those who would not be caught dead on one, would feel trapped and 'elite' for multiple reasons. I am of the latter, have turned down a free ticket in the past. Takes all kinds I guess. Glad you got some value from it.

Ditto!

Though Norman's experiences might change my mind.

I had never been on a cruise before the 2023 Marks Steyn cruise. Like you I never fancied the idea at all but I liked the idea of spending time with a group of like-minded people after losing so many 'friends' duing the covid era. It turned out so much better than I expected - although I would still not do a 'normal cruise'.

This post reminds me why I never want to travel to the USA. There are many reasons to be fair.

but the cruise was great

Sorry, yes your musings were very entertaining to read. I'm glad your time was well spent and yiu had the company of so many wonderful people.

As a side note, I realise that exploitative behaviour is a trigger I need to redress.
