There was a missing generation of young men of reproductive age that left just as many spinsters who never had children.
At my primary school all my teachers were unmarried women. I sometimes think it was a deliberate strategy to cull the working class, who were getting too socialistically minded, and to head off a potential working class revolution.

Thanks for the interview, which I enjoyed. I don't enjoy watching people having to dance along the tightropes of being trashed (e.g. for mentioning 'deaths'), forcing them to be more circumspect than I would otherwise like. Interesting personal story (of John Campbell, especially) of people navigating in real-time the nightmares of the past three years. Like many others, John was taken in by authoritative advice (by PMs, CMOs, etc), which turns out to have been both highly conflicted and - let's face it - just plain wrong. Others have continued to run the same line, while (ironically!) he has realised the problems and is now criticised by those who presumably thought he ought to have worked out the skullduggery earlier. Hindsight is always too easy. The three people in this interview have done (and continue to do) us a great service, in different ways, and it was great to see them all on the same screen.
The saddest part of the whole video was looking at participants trying to control every single word / sentence to avoid being kicked out of media. I guess if we could see conversations in the USSR or the German Democratic Republic during the Cold War period they wouldn’t look much different from these ones. Elizabeth, I think you know the answer to your question. Some sort of mix of deference to authority (partly understandable as everyone cannot know everything about everything and sometimes has to take on trust what they’re told) and partly just plain corruption. The case of Andrew Hill and Tess Lawrie is a good case in point: when millions of dollars and research funding and institutional survival are at stake, people are conflicted. When (previously) trusted high-status peer-reviewed journals are also corrupted, it becomes even harder to know what counts as evidence. (Both Norman and Jessica have given good examples of the journal’s problem, as have others such as Pierre Kory. I don’t know how my local GP (or - gasp - my local vaccinating pharmacist) has any hope of telling fact from fiction in such a world. It’s no accident I think that some of the thoughtful voices (such as Robert Clancy’s) come from retired people, no longer reliant on the mob for their well-being.
I have watched John's channel since late 2020 & have watched him slowly HAVE to come to terms with the fact that everything he had held dear to him in his profession was not all it seemed. There was one particular video where I literally cried for him, I can't remember which one it was, but it was the realisation in his face & tone in his voice that he had been duped. You can hear by what he says that he still doesn't want to quite let go yet, which is understandable. Having dedicated your life to medicine, only to be deceived at the last hurdle, must be heart breaking. He now has to re-evaluate everything he thought to be true. Most of us throughout our lives have, at some stage, been put in a position where we have had to change what we thought about something or someone. Thank you Norman for helping us see how data & statistics can be manipulated to show whatever it is "they" want you to see. It's made me question rather than just accept.
As a youth I contemplated a benign dictatorship as the best form of government in which the State existed for the individuals. As an elderly man I now realise that there is nothing benign about any form of dictatorship. Jessica is right, sovereign individuals and sovereign States are the most precious objectives of society. No matter how you dress up those fundamentals, it always comes down to us being individuals, free to decide what gives us happiness. For millions of Australians a digital vaccine certificate was required to be included in society - it was No Jab, No Life. With medical privacy deliberately undermined, the social exclusion and isolation of 'non-compliant' people was actively encouraged.
An apartheid was created to punish people who refused to consent to the Covid vaccinations, denying them their livelihood and locking them out of the 'vaccinated economy'. People were discriminated against and ostracised, cancelled out of society for refusing to comply under the pressure, coercion and manipulation to submit to the Covid vaccines, in contravention of valid consent, as stipulated in The Australian Immunisation Handbook.
This is the biggest act of treachery in Australia's history - it's the theft of freedom.
The medical profession is at the heart of this scandal, led by you, Paul Kelly, the Chief Medical Officer of Australia: you have destroyed confidence and trust in the health system.
Health practitioners should never have cooperated with mandated medical interventions.
There must be an urgent investigation into this fiasco, this disgraceful stain on Australia's history - the deliberate politicisation of medicine to subjugate the Australian people.

Elizabeth, I think you know the answer to your question. Some sort of mix of deference to authority (partly understandable as everyone cannot know everything about everything and sometimes has to take on trust what they’re told) and partly just plain corruption. The case of Andrew Hill and Tess Lawrie is a good case in point: when millions of dollars and research funding and institutional survival are at stake, people are conflicted. When (previously) trusted high-status peer-reviewed journals are also corrupted, it becomes even harder to know what counts as evidence. (Both Norman and Jessica have given good examples of the journal’s problem, as have others such as Pierre Kory. I don’t know how my local GP (or - gasp - my local vaccinating pharmacist) has any hope of telling fact from fiction in such a world. It’s no accident I think that some of the thoughtful voices (such as Robert Clancy’s) come from retired people, no longer reliant on the mob for their well-being.

I have watched John's channel since late 2020 & have watched him slowly HAVE to come to terms with the fact that everything he had held dear to him in his profession was not all it seemed. There was one particular video where I literally cried for him, I can't remember which one it was, but it was the realisation in his face & tone in his voice that he had been duped. You can hear by what he says that he still doesn't want to quite let go yet, which is understandable. Having dedicated your life to medicine, only to be deceived at the last hurdle, must be heart breaking. He now has to re-evaluate everything he thought to be true. Most of us throughout our lives have, at some stage, been put in a position where we have had to change what we thought about something or someone. Thank you Norman for helping us see how data & statistics can be manipulated to show whatever it is "they" want you to see. It's made me question rather than just accept.
As a youth I contemplated a benign dictatorship as the best form of government in which the State existed for the individuals. As an elderly man I now realise that there is nothing benign about any form of dictatorship. Jessica is right, sovereign individuals and sovereign States are the most precious objectives of society. No matter how you dress up those fundamentals, it always comes down to us being individuals, free to decide what gives us happiness. Too many States and their enabling organisations seek to rob us of that freedom and all that goes with it. This video discussion was great.
